By creating an account on So Many Errands ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
So Many Errands is a platform that connects people who need help with errands ("Employers") with people who can run those errands ("Runners"). The Platform also operates a merchandise store where users can purchase branded products.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
By creating an account, you expressly consent to receive promotional emails, marketing communications, and notifications from So Many Errands. These communications may include, but are not limited to:
You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by updating your notification preferences in your account settings or by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any promotional email. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional emails, you will still receive transactional emails related to your account activity (e.g., order confirmations, errand updates, payment receipts).
The Platform facilitates payments between Employers and Runners. A platform fee of 20% is deducted from errand payments. Tips are passed through to Runners at 100%. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Merchandise purchases are subject to the prices listed at the time of purchase.
Users agree to use the Platform in a lawful and respectful manner. Harassment, fraud, misrepresentation, or any illegal activity will result in immediate account suspension or termination. Users must not attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system.
The Platform provides a built-in dispute resolution system for payment disagreements between Employers and Runners. Both parties are encouraged to resolve disputes through the Platform's system before seeking external remedies.
So Many Errands acts as a marketplace connecting Employers and Runners. We are not responsible for the quality of errands performed, the conduct of users, or any damages arising from interactions between users. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
